Markha Valley Trek (08days-Home Stay/Camping)

Day 01: Acclimatize day at Leh or Rest day, because, we care our clients very much, for that we are keeping a full day rest. So that the coming days will not be difficult. So taking rest is very important on arrival. Evening you can explore Leh market.  Night at Hotel/Guest House at Leh

Day 02: Visit lower Ladakh, some of the famous place, the Indus and Zanskar river conflagration, At Lamayuru close by we have very beautiful landscape, which we call it Broken Moon, as it formed similar to Moon, on the way back visit Alchi monastery off road from the national high way, Alchi Monastery with a spectaculars wall paintings and architecture, would be worth visit, Liker monastery with a huge statue of future Buddha (Miterya Buddha) and old monastery. Night at Hotel/Guest House at Leh.

Day 03: Drive to Zingchen, Trek to Rumbak 3680mts. 1+3=4hours. After following the Indus River, you will lead to a narrow valley getting quiet environment and after reaching at the trekking point, trek to Rumbak village. Evening you can explore the valley more, as it is better for next day and Rumbak is very famous for Snow leopard view in winter (January to March) every year. Night at camp.

Day 04: Rumbak to Shingo via Gandala pass 4700mts, 5-6 hours. Which is a bit easy walk, not really hard to get the top, there will be many wild life creatures are visible. At the top of the pass, you will have magnificent photo to take, as you will clearly have a glimpse of all the famous ranges (Karakuram range, Zanskar Range etc.) a very small village called Yurutse, where only one house hold is there.  Night at camp.

Day 05: Shingo to Spangchanmo via Sku, 5hours. along route view of wild life and beautiful mountains, today you will have easy day almost, there is not really so up and down routes, mostly you will follow the river side, the view are so nice as you will spent times taking pictures ever time. Night at Camp.

Day 06: Spangchanmo to Markha, 4-5hours. along the Markha river, this day you will cross the river by foot, but the river level will not be high as, In September, the water level goes much down, as comparing to July and August, After reaching the camp and bit rest, visit Markha Gonpa, at a small hill lock with the old villages house nearby. Night at camp.

Day 07: Markha to Hankar 4-5hours.via many small villages, as you will pass by villages; there are many chances to see blue sheep and dears, day will not be difficult as you will walk just at the river levels. Night at camp.

Day 08: Hankar to Nimaling, 4hours. this day you will have spectacular view of Kangyatse peak and some wild animals like Pika, marmot and woolly hare, one the way you will see the ruin palaces of Hankar villages and after some time you will find another way going to the right by crossing as small bridge, which leads to another route Known as KHARNAK Valley Trek, but we will go to the left valley, and you will walk and walk, little bit higher and higher, you will have very beautiful views of different colored mountains and landscape etc. Night at camp.

Day 09: Nimaling to Chuskurmo via Kongmarula pass (5200 mts), 5hours. This day you will go through the highest pass in this trek, but it really not difficult to get at the top, after the top, it will be more longer day, going down to Chuskurmo camp site, the mountain and formation are just amazing.  Night at camp.

Day 10: Chuskurmo to Sang-sumdo, 4-5hours. This day would be an easy work, just following the same route along the small river. So after reaching at the shang-sumdo, car will pick up the entire member and drive to Thiksay Monastery, which is very similar to Potala Palace in Tibet.  Night at Hotel /Guest House at Leh.

Day 11: Departure day, with a memorable memories form Ladakh.
